Our School Year Programs

During the school year, Extended Day runs every day that school is in session for a full day. We also cover a limited number of half days and school vacations. Extended Day ends at 6pm.

September and June Smash is supervised open play and does not include any enrichment classes. Half day and school vacation coverage is also supervised open play.

Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions include optional enrichment classes run by internal and external providers. The schedule changes each session and classes are assigned via lottery. You can read more about the lottery system below. The majority of enrichment classes have no extra cost, anything that has an extra cost will be noted in the schedule.

Enrichment class schedules change each season (Fall, Winter, Spring).

The schedule and class descriptions will be shared on our website. Classes are grouped by grade - Pre-K & K; 1st & 2nd; 3rd-5th and offerings may differ.

Pick Top 4

Complete one lottery form per child.

Pick your top 4 class choices for each day that your child attends Extended Day.

Forms are available online.
Paper forms are also available (in the PTA office - room 107 off the cafeteria and at the Extended Day sign out table).

Everyone Gets a Spot

There is space for all students in Extended Day. Enrichment classes are assigned via lottery to ensure fairness.

Class assignments will be shared via Jackrabbit. If you're unhappy with your placement you can drop a class.

Additional Important Info

Annual registration fees are billed at the same time as Fall fees.
Families with outstanding balances from previous sessions/years will not be enrolled and will be placed on a waitlist unless otherwise discussed with the Extended Day team.
During the first two weeks of a session, days can be dropped for a full refund.
After the first two weeks, you must provide a minimum of 14 days' written notice to cancel coverage. Tuition fees will continue to accrue during this 14 day notice period. Any prepaid, unused tuition beyond this window will be refunded.
If your child is in AIS, Chorus, Chess or another afterschool activity that finishes at or after 4:00 pm and your child needs to join Extended Day, there is an option for "2nd Half" coverage.
